Breathless Pro Racing Team is a family owned business located in Davie, FL.
We have raced in several series including NASA, SCCA, GrandAm, Pirelli World Challenge, and TransAm.
From Formula Atlantic, Mazda B Specs, Miata Touring Cars to Corvettes, Camaros, Aston Martins, Ferraris, Porsche Cup Cars and Club Sports, we have raced, serviced and provided track support for several types of open wheel, touring cars, and GT class cars.
Our championship winning 850+ HP TA car is the famous 98 Breathless Racing Ford Mustang driven by Ernie Francis Jr. (EFJ)
What differentiates Breathless Pro Racing from other professional race car teams is that this team is a family.
Every race is worked by Ernie Senior and his wife Monica as well as Ernie Junior (when he isn’t driving) and the crew – some of which have been with the team for years.
Everyone is up at 6 a.m. and works on getting the cars ready and prepped all day.
If anything mechanically fails, the team stays together until the job gets done - sometimes leading into the late hours of the night until the last tool is put away. At any given moment at the paddock, everyone including Ernie Junior is holding a tool to get something adjusted or fixed.
Rain or shine, cold or hot weather doesn’t stop this team from working relentlessly to achieve the wins on the books. Even our gentleman drivers become friends with the team and when there is a little extra time, the team as well as the drivers venture off in the surrounding areas for some extracurricular touring – parks, museums, and karting....
This is what teamwork is all about.
